Saturday's shooting of a 43-year-old man on Place De Brouckère seems to be the result of a twenty-year 'vendetta' according to HLN.
At around 20:20 on Saturday, shots were fired in the centre of Brussels. According to the Flemish newspaper, Erion H was seriously injured after being shot in the chest and legs, by 44-year-old Noga K.
The shooting looked to be a settling of scores since both men had been embroiled in a long-running feud. Noga K was convicted of murdering Erion H's father in 2000.
