Brussels Police have confirmed that a cyclist has been taken to hospital in a critical condition, after being run over by a De Lijn bus on Wednesday evening, not far from the Yser metro stop.

The accident occurred at 18:45 in the northern part of the capital, at the intersection of Chaussée d'Anvers and Boulevard de Dixmude.
The man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, with the circumstances of the accident yet to be determined.
Traffic was momentarily halted between Avenue du Port and Boulevard de Dixmude.
