A 57-year-old man died on Sunday following a road accident in Eernegem (West Flanders).
The victim, who was riding a motorcycle, hit a car at a crossroads on Sunday morning shortly after 10am in the center of Eernegem.
Seriously injured, the 50-year-old was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Following an initial investigation, the person behind the car appears to have been at fault, and should have given way to the motorcyclist who was already engaged in the crossroad.
