After a two-year absence, Dour Festival returned from 13 to 17 July with a star-packed lineup to seranade the huge number of festival-goers.
223,000 lovers of music flocked to the festival site in Dour-Quiévrain where they could watch world-renowned performers such as Belgian pop singer Angèle and American rap artist Gunna. A roster of 264 artists played on eight total stages over the five days of the event, held on 170 hectares of the Dour countryside.
The musical event was preceded by the first-ever "CampFest" in which festival-goers "warmed up" before the start of the festival. Activities during the three-day camping event included yoga, handpan classes (a type of steel drum) and makeovers by the festival's Beauty Crew.

The Dour Festival has grown exponentially since its inception in 1989 when only five bands were programmed to perform and 2,000 people attended. The wide range of music genres includes electro, rock, R&B, reggae and more, and attracts attendees from around the world.
The dates for the 33rd edition of the Dour Festival in 2023 have already been announced: 12 to 16 July. The full lineup of artists will be revealed closer to the time.
