Deliveroo is revising its forecasts for this year downwards, the meal delivery platform announced on Monday.
Public demand for the British company's services seems to be dropping due to rising prices, so while it had envisaged a 15% to 25% growth in the total value of orders in 2022, it will have to settle for an increase of 4% to 12%.
Deliveroo is showing some caution after seeing its gross transaction value (GTV) - the unit used by the group to measure its sales - increase by 2% on an annual basis in the second quarter, down from 12% in the first three months of the year.
