Last Tuesday, the Brussels South police zone carried out 15 house searches, leading to six arrests and the seizure of over €85,00 in cash as well as considerable quantities of cocaine, heroin, resin and cannabis.
An investigation lasting several months showed that hard drug dealers are active in the Brussels municipality of Saint-Gilles.
"After intensive detective work, it could be established that the presumed leaders of the organisation came from Antwerp," said spokesperson Stefan Vandenvelde in a press release.
