Philippe Close, the Mayor of Brussels, has confirmed that Princess Maria Laura's civil wedding will take place in Brussels' City Hall on 10 September.
The couple that lives in London has decided to marry in Brussels' City Hall, as her parents, Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz did more than 35 years ago.
Maria Laura is the second child and eldest daughter of Princess Astrid, who is the previous King Albert II's second child.

The civil wedding will reportedly take place in an intimate circle with no media presence, whereas their previously announced religious ceremony will be at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, with a total of 500 people expected to attend.
William Isvy, the Princess' fiancé, is 30 years old and was born in Paris to a British mother and a French-Moroccan father.
He spent most of his childhood in London, then studied finance in Montreal, Canada, and now works in asset management in London.
