About half of Britons believe Boris Johnson has performed poorly as prime minister: a poll conducted by Ipsos and published on Wednesday showed that 49% of the 1,111 respondents felt he was the worst prime minister since the Second World War.
Theresa May (41%) and David Cameron (38%) complete the sad podium, followed by Tony Blair (35%) and Margaret Thatcher (32%).
According to the poll, Winston Churchill was considered by 62% of respondents to be the best prime minister Britain has ever known, while 43% awarded that distinction to Margaret Thatcher, 36% to Tony Blair and 33% to Boris Johnson.
