KU Leuven and Onze Natuur have announced a new documentary about Belgium's nature.
Since 2019, Onze Natuur has sought to unveil the wonders of Belgian fauna and flora. It produces news reports, articles and video footage and now will release a film together with KU Leuven.
“Nature is extremely complex and arouses our curiosity. How does it work? Why is it so important that we take good care of it? Onze Natuur makes a great effort to answer those questions,” said Gerard Govers, vice-rector of KU Leuven. “As a university, we want to support the message that Onze Natuur is propagating with the right scientific information.”

Several KU Leuven biologists and ecologists will feature in the documentary. The film will hit Belgian cinemas on September 21. Later, the seven-part production will be broadcast on Canvas and VRT MAX.
