Two people were injured in a shootout near Amsterdam Central Station (the Netherlands) on Saturday night. The victims were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries, a spokesperson for Dutch police stated.

The incident took place around shortly after midnight. It is not yet certain if it involved one or more shooters. Part of the station was closed for fear that the suspect or suspects were hiding on the railway infrastructure.
