Deloitte Belgium says it plans to recruit 1,700 new employees in its current financial year, which ends in May 2023.
The firm, which provides audit, consulting, tax, and advisory services, wants to attract 450 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) profiles and also welcomes people without an economic or legal background.
Deloitte says it aims to increase diversity by hiring people from less traditional backgrounds, such as biology, political science and journalism.
Deloitte Belgium achieved a total turnover of €706 million in fiscal 2022, which ended on 31 May this year. This is an increase of 11.1 % compared to 2021.
As at 31 May 2022, Deloitte employed 5,222 people in Belgium.
