The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to equip itself with an additional fleet of maritime drones.
Following the Ukrainian army's strike on the Russian navy in the Crimean peninsula last weekend, Zelenskyy has reiterated his army's need for additional weapons. To that end, "we will be launching a crowdfunding campaign next week to raise funds for a fleet of marine drones," he stated.
Furthermore, he explained that this request "is simply for the preservation of our maritime area and we are not claiming anything that does not belong to us."
