Following a shooting in the Brussels musicality of Schaerbeek, two people were taken into hospital on Sunday evening, with one of the victims having since left hospital.
At around 18:00, two people in a car were shot at several times by unknown assailants near Place Lehon in Schaerbeek.
Both were injured but while "the first victim had to remain in hospital for observation, the second victim was allowed to leave the hospital after being treated,” the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office reported.

An investigation is currently ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
