Belgium's national football – the Red Devils – will be flying to Kuwait on Tuesday afternoon, where they play against Egypt on Friday in preparation for the first World Cup match against Canada on 23 November.
In the run-up to the start of the World Cup, Belgium will face Egypt in a friendly, against whom they started their World Cup campaign in 2018. Belgium's manager Roberto Martinez stated that the game "offers the opportunity to prepare for a major tournament in a specific way by focusing on the time frame."
After which, the Belgian team will fly to Qatar and the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, about an hour and 20 flight from the Qatari capital Doha, with their competition to start on Wednesday 23 November at 20:00 (CET) against Canada.

The Red Devils will then face Morocco on Sunday 27 November at 14:00 and the 2018 World Cup's runners-up Croatia on Thursday 1 December at 16:00.
The matches against Canada and Croatia will be played at the Ahmad Bin Ali stadium in Al Rayyan, while the match against Morocco will be played at the Al Thumama stadium in Doha.
