Brussels Airports expects disruption on Friday, as unions have organised a new strike.
Fewer staff will be on duty, which will cause delays.
"To guarantee safety and avoid chaos, we, therefore, ask the airlines to cancel flights preventively," an airport spokesperson told Belga news agency.
Staff may be reduced to 30% compared to a normal Friday.
Trade unions ABVV, ACV and ACLBV will travel through Brussels for the national demonstration. They will again demand measures to give people more purchasing power, including a price cap for energy and wage negotiations.

In November, the federal government proposed that profitable companies could give employees a bonus of up to €750, but unions considered this amount insufficient.
The unions have organised several campaigns in recent months to enforce their demands, including a strike on 9 November.
Airline capacity to be reduced by 70%
At Zaventem airport, the call to strike will mainly impact control and handling services at the airport on Friday 16 December.
"Based on data on the number of people willing to work, we have asked the airlines to reduce their capacity by 70% that day," the spokesperson confirmed.
The remaining 30% of flights could then continue without any problems, including with luggage.
Passengers will be notified personally by their airline if their flight is cancelled or rescheduled.
