Ryanair has reached a wage agreement with its Irish pilots, including a reversal of pay cuts imposed during the coronavirus crisis.
The low-cost airline had been negotiating for months with the Forsa union over a multi-year pay deal. In July, the Irish company reported that it had agreed with all unions, except the Irish and Belgian ones, to restore pre-pandemic pay.
In October, the Irish Workplace Relations Commission was asked to help resolve the situation.
Under the new agreement, Ryanair pilots working in Ireland will receive three years of pay increases over the next four years - until March 2027, Ryanair told its investors on Tuesday.
The company’s traffic was slightly disrupted this summer due to strikes by its cabin crews.
Personnel Director Darrell Hughes said Ryanair welcomed the agreement with Forsa to restore wages. He said the company's Irish pilots would have their pay cuts reversed in their December pay in time for Christmas.
