The Royal Meteorological Institute has issued a code yellow in Belgium for strong winds and rain expected late Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.
On Wednesday evening, the weather will turn cloudy followed by rain showers across the country, with the possibility of thunder in the west. Temperatures highs will vary between 7°C in the Ardennes and 11°C in Flanders.
Gusts of 90 km/h are expected along the coast between Wednesday evening and Thursday evening. In Flanders, winds will reach 80 and 90 km/h. In the centre of the country, the strongest gales are likely to occur between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, with winds approaching 70 km/h.

Code yellow for wind has been issued for Thursday morning from 04:00 until 14:00 in the whole country. Winds will stay strong with gusts of 70 to 80 km/h.
Temperatures will remain between 7°C in the Ardennes and 11°C in Flanders.
Rain will occur between Wednesday evening and Friday morning, with precipitation reaching between 25 and 30 l/m² in some of Belgium's provinces.
