Unions of the Flemish public transport company De Lijn will hold a day of action on Tuesday 14 February. The impact this will have on the timetable is not yet clear, but tram and bus travellers will be disrupted.
During the day of action, unions will again call for more purchasing power and more fiscal justice in light of the current cost-of-living crisis. Bus and tram travellers across Flanders (and Brussels) will likely be inconvenienced.
"The action is not directed against us, but our staff will still participate," Flemish public transport company De Lijn announced in a press release. "The trade union action may cause disruption to bus and tram services throughout Flanders."

It is not yet known how many drivers will be taking part in the action. De Lijn's route planner and social media channels will be updated when information becomes available and will only show journeys that will run on 14 February, both on the website and in the app. Bus and tram lines that are not running will not be shown.
Brussels public transport company STIB will not take part in the action, meaning that its metros, trams and buses will be operated as usual, a spokesperson told The Brussels Times.
Services should return to normal on Wednesday 15 February.
