The Couleur Café Festival, taking place under the Atomium in Osseghem Park from 23 to 25 June this year, has revealed the names of another nine new artists due to perform at next year's edition of the well-loved Brussels festival.
"Temperatures are slowly rising, winter is starting its exodus. Today, Couleur Café gives our least favourite season an extra push out the door with these nine new names," the organisation announced in a press release. The organisation previously already announced performances by artists such as Thundercat, Sofia Gabanna, BNXN (formerly known as Buju) and Black Sherif.
US rapper Joey Bada$$ is the latest major international artist scheduled to perform at the Brussels festival, scheduled to play on Sunday's line up and showcasing his unmistakable flow over both trap and old-school-tinged hip-hop beats.
On Friday 23 June, the festival will offer sun-drenched afrobeats from Nigeria provided by Ayra Starr, as well as French afropop by Naza. For some grade-A electronic dub music, Kanka will get the festival's characteristic reggae vibe going.

For Saturday 24 June, Cameroonian-French TAYC will perform, and Joe Yorke & Eeyun Purkins are bringing their reggae-infused dub, while Amsterdam trailblazer King Shiloh will also be performing. Sunday guests will be able to enjoy acts by La Jungle and Atili.
More acts will be announced "very soon," the organisation added. In the meantime, half of the tickets for the Couleur Café Club – a club night in BUDA BXL – on 25 March are already sold out.
A Couleur Café day ticket costs €54, a 3-day combi ticket costs €110, while a combi-ticket with camping access costs €125. For people who prefer a camping car/van over a tent, a Camping Car ticket costs €20 per vehicle. More info and tickets can be found on the festival website.
