GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) was voted, for the fourth time in a row, the most attractive Belgian employer, by Randstad (the international recruitment agency), based upon a survey of 15,000 people. Google scooped the most attractive dynamic brand whilst Mercedes-Benz is the employer which excelled itself the most.
“Amongst those who know the company, 61% either wish to or desperately long to work there. GSK got in front of Janssen Pharmaceutica and Brussels Airlines by the skin of its teeth,” stressed the recruitment company. Last year, the Randstad Award went to the European Commission.
In the category of dynamic brands, namely businesses with a reputation for being revolutionary in their sector, Google distinguished itself as the most attractive 'employer.
Of the respondents who know the Google brand, 61% would like to work there, compared to 55% for Apple, 54% for Tesla et 48% for Facebook. Uber finished the race in last place in this category with a mere 14%.
Finally, Mercedes-Benz is “the outperformer, the employer which excelled itself the most” amongst the category of “companies which performed above average in their sector”.
