On Saturday night, an explosive attack on a house in the Zwartzustersberg, Mechelen, caused no injuries but significant damage, police said Sunday morning.
The attack was carried out by an explosive device, which was used to blow up the house.
Emergency services were alerted at around 1:00 in the morning to reports of an explosion in the Flemish city. The Defence Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (DOVO/SEDEE), attended the scene.
All leads are open at this stage, including that of a drug-related attack.
Several such attacks have targeted homes in Mechelen in recent weeks.
