The Museum Pass gives holders access to 225 museums across Belgium for a year for the one-off fee of €59. Already much loved by those who have used it in previous years, the pass is growing in popularity. Since its launch in 2018 it has been used for two million visits.
The nationwide initiative gives access to all public museums in Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia (and most of the private ones). When the pass was first launched it gave access to 100 museums; that number has since more than doubled.
Not only does the pass give free access to 225 Belgian museums, it also allows for free entry to most temporary exhibitions. According to the pass website, if the pass doesn't get you free admission to a temporary exhibition it will likely get you entry at a discounted price.

The Museum Pass was created to boost visitor numbers to Belgian museums and allow people to explore other cultures. It aims to be affordable for all, those with low income are able to purchase the pass for €12 upon presenting a valid social UiTPAS, Paspartoe, A-kaart or Article 27.
The pass is managed by museumPASSmusées and is founded by four organisations including the Brussels Museums Council and Vlaams Museumoverleg.
The organisation expects that the increase in visitors is a result of the opening of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the launch of the TV show "The Tale of Flanders".
