TUI Fly, the airline of tour operator TUI, is set to launch flights to four new destinations which will link Algeria to Brussels Airport, it announced on Thursday. The new routes will link Zaventem to Oran, Tlemcen, Constantine, and Béjaïa.
The four new routes will be operated during the summer travel season, starting from mid-May, once a week for Tlemcen, Constantine, and Béjaïa, and twice a week for Oran. The capital of Algiers will still be served twice a week from Charleroi (Brussels South) airport.
This increase in flights between Belgium and Algeria marks a return to TUI Fly’s offering before the Covid-19 pandemic, the company noted in a press release.
The flights are not offered as part of a package holiday. The majority of passengers flying to Algeria are usually travelling to visit family or relatives, Piet Demeyere, spokesperson for TUI, explained.
