Walibi is the ideal theme park to visit with family and friends with its many attractions, such as the famous Dalton terror, the mythical Radja River, the fearsome mine train, the exotic Tiki-Waka and many other roller coasters. There are 41 attractions for children in completely safe areas.
If you prefer more of a tropical atmosphere head to Aqualibi with its many slides, wave pool, jets, waterfalls, fountains, jacuzzis and relaxation pools. Enjoy a day out with the family, located next to Walibi.

If you and your family prefer to scale some heights pay a visit to Adventure Park, in a beautiful green setting just 20km from Brussels. Offering 28 courses and 280 games, it is accessible for children from 4 years old. The courses in the trees are suitable for everyone young and old and there are different courses depending on your age.
The Abbey of Villers-la-Ville was founded in the 12th century under the aegis of Saint Bernard. Today its majestic ruins give a marvellous idea of the life of the monks of the Cistercian Order. Here you will find 900 years of history and lots of activities to suit all ages such as themed guided visits, family discovery walks, activity days, open air concerts, exhibitions and walks around the Abbey!

Take the family to learn about the famous Battle of Waterloo and prepare yourself for a moment of amazing culture. Visit the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo, which includes the Lion’s Mound, the Memorial Museum, the Panorama and the Hougoumont Farm, Napoleon’s Last Headquarters, the Wellington Museum and the Mont-Saint-Jean Farm.
Walloon Brabant is also known as the “Garden of Brussels” and is a real haven of greenery, perfect if you enjoy nature. If you are looking for more of a relaxing time and plenty of fresh air, take the little ones for a walk in one of the many castles, parks and gardens, such as Dodaine Park, Genval Lake, Louvain-la-Neuve Lake and Solvay Regional Estate.

Discover the green spaces of the Bois des Rêves, an area of 67 hectares, the ‘Bois des Rêves’ is a true haven of peace in Ottignies, set in the heart of Walloon Brabant. You will fall in love with its brooks, valleys and remarkable flora. It is open every day of the year and is mainly composed of woods and a wetland.

If the weather is not as dry as it should be, there are lots of must-see museums such as the Hergé Museum, where you can discover the fabulous career of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century who gave birth to the characters of Tintin and Snowy.
Located a few minutes from Brussels in the heart of Walloon Brabant, you can also discover the works of a great Belgian artist at the Folon Foundation, created by Jean-Michel Folon himself. This museum displays the multiple facets of his art: watercolours, screen printing, engravings, posters, reworked objects, stained-glass windows and sculptures.
Finally, experience dialogue with art at Museum L, Belgium’s first large-scale university museum. The museum means thousands of encounters between science and the arts and here you can explore works spread over 6 floors and discover collections from 5 continents, ranging from prehistory to the 20th century.
