Vincent Kompany has extended his contract as Burnley manager until 2028.
Kompany arrived at the start of the season and has led the ‘Clarets’ back to the Premier League, after a dominating season in the Championship, in which they have only lost three games.
“Burnley and Turf Moor felt right from the start,” Kompany told the club website. “That’s why it feels right to sign for the next five years.”
Kompany was also voted Championship coach of the season.
Burnley have 98 points before they finish the league against Cardiff on Monday.
