Thursday marks the final day of testimonies at the trial of the Brussels terror attacks that occurred in March 2016, with 13 people expected to appear in court.
The witnesses set to stand trial are known acquaintances of accomplices who are accused of sheltering some of the suspected terrorists.
The first testimony will come from a friend of Bilal El Makhoukhi, who is accused of selling weapons to the terrorist group.
The court will also hear from other witnesses linked to the Farisi brothers, who helped terrorists lie low in the municipality of Etterbeek. These include an ex-girlfriend of one of the brothers and a taxi driver who helped them to vacate the flat after the attacks and destroy any evidence.

A woman who briefly sheltered Mohammed Abrini – the so-called 'man in the hat' who fled from Brussels Airport – was also due to appear on Thursday but is now unable to do so for medical reasons.
Various experts will take the stand next week once the court has heard all the testimonies. This will then be followed by the first character witnesses.
