The Brussels Fire Brigade was informed of a fire in a discotheque at Avenue Louise in Ixelles at 17:30 on Saturday afternoon. There were no injuries and the exact cause of the fire is still unclear.
The fire was located in the annexe of a building that also housed a residence and a restaurant.
"The residence and restaurant will require some cleaning up, but they suffered little damage and are still fully usable," said fire brigade spokesperson Walter Derieuw. "The disco is completely unusable."
