The Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hadja Lahbib, will fly to the Balkans on Sunday for a three-day visit. On the agenda: a diplomatic conference in Slovenia and various meetings in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Belgian minister will take part on Monday in Ljubljana in the Mutual Legal Assistance and Extradition conference (MLA) during which a convention on cooperation in the prosecution of crimes against humanity and war crimes will be signed.

On Tuesday, the head of diplomacy will hold talks with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and his counterpart Grlic Radman. Lahbib will then travel to Sarajevo for meetings with Dutch and European representatives, the Bosnian foreign minister and the UN High Representative for Bosnia. The signing of a memorandum of understanding is also on the agenda, as well as a conference on press freedom.
