Belgium’s Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) has recalled two products sold in the meat aisle of Aldi stores.

Customers are asked to not consume these products and return them to the store.

The affected products include 2-piece chicken burgers and 600-gram “Belgian Quality” brand chicken sausages.

The products feature incorrect expiry dates. The sell-by date is indicated as 25 May, when it should read 18 May.

Customers are at risk of eating old expired meat.

Customers can return the affected products back to the store of purchase, even without a receipt.
