Brussels' public transport company STIB announced its plans to roll out five new models of its modern M6s metros throughout the month of June.
STIB has been introducing these models since mid-March on the 2 and 6 metro lines and are now set to add five more this month.
"This is good news for our passengers, who will have even more opportunities to use these modern metros for their journeys", the company stated.
These modernises metros were introduced in April 2007 and have are already been running on lines 1 and 5. They have been given the nickname "boa" as they allow a passenger to move from one end of the train to the other without leaving it, including the driver.
