From 10 to 11 June, artisanal beer enthusiasts will meet at the Carrément Bières festival on the medieval site of the Villers Abbey, less than 50 km outside of Brussels.

Nearly 30 Belgian craft breweries, including the local Hostieux Moines de l'Abbaye, will present 100 types of beer at the festival.

The event also promises live music, beer brewing workshops and guided visits of the Abbey. The Villers Abbey has its own microbrewery, where the Hostieux Moines de l'Abbaye is produced, which would also be open to visitors during the festival.

The festival is open from 13:00 to 21:00 on Saturday and 11:00 to 19:00 on Sunday. The entry price is €9 for adults, €7 for students or seniors and €4 for children.
