Dry weather will hold over most of Belgium on Monday before showers settle across most of the country.
Conditions today will be predominantly cloudy though dry with sunny spells. The weather will be mostly dry, with temperatures of around 21 °C at sea and 28 °C in the Campine region, with a light to moderate westerly to southwesterly wind.
At the end of the afternoon, the wind will move north over the far west of the country and become weak elsewhere, according to forecasts by the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
Monday evening will be dry at first followed by a wave of showers and thunderstorms arriving from France later at night. Temperatures will drop to lows of 16-18 °C. Winds will be light and variable, before increasing over the southeast of the country.
On Tuesday a body of rain will move away towards the Netherlands in the morning; the rest of the day should remain dry with sunny spells.
Stormy showers will reappear from France during the afternoon. Thunderstorms may occur locally. Temperatures should reach 24 °C by the coast and up to 29 °C in the Campine region. Winds will be moderate, blowing from the south, then southwest in the afternoon.

Wednesday should remain dry in most places though local showers are expected in the centre and southeast of the country. Temperatures will reach highs of 22 °C on the coast and 27 °C in the Campine region.
Thursday will bring more wet weather from France, with the possibility of heavy rains and local thunderstorms. The northwest of the country should remain largely dry.
Conditions on Friday are currently forecast to be dry again in most places with alternating sunny periods and cloudy weather.
