Around 220,000 people are expected to attend the 16th edition Les Ardentes urban music festival, which runs from Thursday 6 July to Sunday 9 July in Rocourt (Liège).
This is the festival's second year at its new site on the outskirts of Liège (Rue de l'Arbre Courte-Joie in Rocourt), where 55,000 people are expected to attend each day. The event is now practically sold out.
Over 125 artists are due to perform over the long weekend, including international stars such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Balvin, Central Cee, Travis Scott, DJ Snake, Aya Nakamura and even French rapper Booba and Playboi Carti. Stages with DJ sets have also been added this year.
The festival campsite has been greatly expanded and tickets have once again sold out. Around 10,000 extra campers will be able to stay within walking distance of the site, amounting to a total of around 30,000 people. The first campers are expected to arrive on Wednesday.
Some 55 volunteer Red Cross first-aiders will be on hand at the festival and campsite during the four-day event. Mobile teams will also be available. Last year, first-aiders carried out more than 1,600 interventions.
Further information can be found on the festival's official website.
