The weather will vary on Thursday afternoon, with clearer skies expected in southern Belgium but also thundery showers in the south-east, the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) says. Highs will range from 22°C to 26°C.
The broadly clear skies will gradually give way to low clouds forming in some areas on Thursday evening and during the night. Minimum temperatures will range from 12°C to 17°C.
It will be fairly sunny on Friday before the arrival of high and mid-level clouds. Temperatures will climb to 29°C. The risk of precipitation will increase on Saturday before the sun returns from the west. Highs will range from 24°C to 27°C.
The weather will then become calmer, gradually sunnier but also hotter. There will be thunderstorms in the middle of next week, when highs will approach or exceed 30°C.
