More than 350 weapons were seized by police in a large operation in the regions of Mons and Charleroi on Tuesday morning.
The operation was aimed at dismantling an arms trafficking network run by a French gun-maker based in Belgium, reports La Libre.
Several different police districts, including the Federal Judicial Police of Mons, collaborated in the operation, which resulted in the discovery of many different kinds of weapons.
The federal prosecutor is expected to provide more information on the details of the operation on Friday.
