UEFA will put 1.2 million tickets for Euro 2024 on sale from October 3, the body announced on Tuesday.

For ticket sales, UEFA has developed a programme to give fans priority. More than 80% of the 2.7 million tickets will be available to supporters of participating teams and the general public. The starting price for tickets will be 30 euros and 1 million tickets will be available for less than 60 euros.

During the first sales period, scheduled from October 3 to 26, 1.2 million tickets will go on sale. The tickets will be distributed after "a fair and transparent draw."

The second phase is scheduled to follow the group stage draw scheduled for 2 December. One million tickets will be made available to fans of the qualified teams "in close collaboration with the federations concerned." The third and final phase will take place after the play-offs scheduled for 21 and 26 March.

Euro 2024 will be played in Germany with the opening match on 14 June in Munich and the final on 14 July in Berlin.
