While a trip to the cinema has become more expensive in recent years, it will become significantly cheaper in Belgium for the next few days.

A selection of cinemas will be taking part in We Love Cinema Days, in collaboration with BNP Paribas Fortis. From Wednesday 20 to Saturday 23 September, film buffs can buy tickets to any screening in participating cinemas across the country for just €6.

The cheaper tickets can be used for all films across all genres that are currently on in cinemas – such as 'Barbie', which continues to smash box office records, as well as 'The Nun II' and the exclusive avant-première of 'Dogman', an "English-language French action drama film".

The participating cinemas in the Belgian capital are Kinepolis Brussels, White Cinema Docks, UGC Toison d'Or and UGC De Brouckère.

€1 tickets in Wallonia and Brussels

The offer comes at a time when the sector is recovering slowly but surely after a massive lull due to the Covid-19 pandemic and successive lockdowns.

Throughout September, another initiative is being organised in independent cinemas in Brussels and Wallonia as part of this year's edition of J'peux pas, j'ai cinéma. Tickets will be available for just €1 across 34 cinemas.

In Brussels, the following cinemas are taking part until 30 September: Aventure (City of Brussels), Cineflagey (Ixelles), Galeries (City of Brussels), Le Stockel (Woluwe Saint-Pierre), Palace (City of Brussels), Vendôme (Ixelles) and White Cinema Docks (Schaerbeek).
