Listen Festival has announced it is organising a rave in three Brussels tunnels as part of its programme for the 2024 edition.

Like every year, the festival takes place at various places across the city and organises events in some of the most unique venues in Brussels. Some of last year’s unconventional venues included the entrance hall of Brussels-Central Station and the Church of our Lady of Laeken.

For 2024, the highlight is expected to be when festival-goers on 31 March 2024 head to the tunnel complex below Place Louise for an all-night rave.

"Giving public space back to Brussels residents and visitors is anything but tunnel vision," reacted the Brussels Mobility Minister Elke Van den Brandt (Greens) on social media after the announcement of the event.

Taking up residence inside three of Brussels’ iconic tunnels, the rave will feature some of the most in-demand DJs of the moment, including VTSS, Hector Oaks, CJ Bolland B2B Nosedrip, Paul Seul, Burenhinder, Crystalmess, Emily Jeanne, EMILIJA and many more.

The following Monday is a bank holiday, so party-goers will be able to give it their all without having to take a day off the following day.

Listen 2024

Listen prides itself on being an eclectic festival, showcasing the diversity of the electronic music scene. Last year, some 20,000 people came to Brussels, over 60% of them from outside the Brussels-Capital Region.

One of the festival's main objectives remains to give the Brussels scene an international platform, and by collaborating with various local players, the festival aims to illustrate the infinite potential of the flourishing local music scene.

Last week, the Brussels festival shared a first series of events and the names of the line-up, once again showcasing the diversity of the electronic music scene with concerts and club nights. By bringing together collectives, labels and curators, genres range from hip-hop to house and from techno to global sounds.

Among the first artists announced for Listen 2024 are: Marina Herlop, Nala Sinephro, AliA B2B Le Motel, Bitter Babe, CJ Bolland B2B Nosedrip, VTSS, LSDXOXO, George Riley, Deli Girls, Hector Oaks, Emily Jeanne, Crystalmess, Ikonika, Blck Mamba, Lefto Early Bird 'live', dBridge, Lefto Early Bird, Donia, Bona Léa, DC Salas and many more.
