The second edition of Art+People will take place in the Marolles district of Brussels next weekend, from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 October.
The festival aims to foster social connections and involve residents of Brussels’ iconic neighbourhood in artistic projects.
Art+People will feature daytime and evening events over three days to make culture "accessible and enjoyable." The event encourages the public to discover the Marolles district from a new perspective, away from traditional tourist paths.
The photo exhibition "Through the Marolles" by Alexia Rincé will be displayed throughout the weekend at the Mont-de-Piété exhibition space. A 60-metre-long rope will also be installed at the Jeu de Balle square to “connect people and things.”
On Sunday evening at 20:00, the event "Football x Fashion" will present a choreographed fashion show by artist and former footballer Ahilan Ratnamohan.
