Some 130 exhibitors from 16 countries will gather at Brussels Expo from Sunday until 2 February for Brussels Art Fair (Brafa) 2025.

To mark its 70th anniversary, the Brussels Art Fair is collaborating with the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (Irpa) and welcoming around fifteen new galleries.

This year, the fair will focus on celebration and joy, highlighted by the large colourful installations of Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, the event’s guest of honour.

Renowned galleries, including some that have participated since the fair’s inception, will also be in attendance this anniversary year.

These include the Antwerp gallery N. Vrouyr, specialising in carpets and textiles; Axel Vervoordt, known for its stands blending archaeology, designer furniture, and contemporary works; and the Geneva-based De Jonckheere gallery, offering masterpieces by both old and modern masters.

This edition of Brafa will also see new exhibitors, such as the London gallery Stoppenbach & Delestre, which specialises in French Impressionist art; print dealer Colnaghi; and Swedish exhibitor Hoffman Antiques, known for Gustavian furniture.

Moreover, the fair is launching a new collaboration with Irpa for its 70th edition. The Institute will provide daily workshops for the public, aiming to address their questions about the conservation of their artworks.
