A total of 330 lists have been submitted for the federal, regional and European elections on Sunday 9 June, representing 6,550 candidates, announced the Federal Public Home Affairs Service.
The political parties participating in the elections submitted their lists of candidates to the chairs of the constituency and college headquarters on Friday and Saturday. 94% of the candidate lists were submitted digitally.
The lists will be temporarily closed on Monday at 16:00. The parties then have a few days to correct any irregularities that were identified. The final closure will take place on Thursday at 16:00.
