A wandering wolf, often seen on social media, has been found dead in Zoersel, Belgium.
The wolf had been on a four-day journey from Hoogstraten to Sint-Job-in-‘t-Goor and Zoersel, the Welkom Wolf NGO reports.
During its search for a suitable habitat, the wolf was sighted dozens of times. Its last recorded sighting occurred at 6:15 am on Friday in Schilde.
Additional research is needed to determine the origin of the wolf.
