A 60-year-old woman was found dead in a bungalow park in Lanaken (Limbourg province) on Saturday morning.
She appears to have fallen and sustained a severe head injury.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 10 am. The suspicious nature of her death prompted notification of the Limburg prosecutor’s office.
A forensic doctor and a judicial laboratory were dispatched for standard investigations.
Initial findings suggest the victim may have tripped and injured her head on Friday evening, her husband discovering her outside only the following morning.
Local police established a security perimeter around the scene.
