Belgian champions Club Brugge and Belgian cup winners Union Saint-Gilloise are set to face each other on 20th July in the Super Cup.

The Pro League confirmed the date of the encounter on Thursday. Antwerp currently hold the title.

The match will take place at the Jan Breydel Stadium, as Club Bruges hold home advantage after their crowning in the Jupiler Pro League season.

The Bruges team hold the record for the most Super Cup victories with a total of 17, ahead of Sporting Anderlecht (13) and Standard (4).

Union Saint-Gilloise, despite winning the Belgian Cup this season, have never won the Super Cup trophy in their history.

Either team will succeed Antwerp, the 2022-2023 champions and current Super Cup holders.
