With just days to go before Belgium's first game of the Euro 2024 - Monday, 6.00 p.m. vs. Slovakia - winger Yannick Carrasco says he is fit and the Red Devils are ready.

"Physically, I'm feeling very good, as I saw during the tests with the group, and I think I'm in excellent shape," he told the press on Friday in Freiberg am Neckar, Germany. "You only get better with experience, and I'm more decisive with every game."

Red Devils manager Domenico Tedesco has plenty of options on the wings with players like Jérémy Doku, Dodi Lukebakio and Johan Bakayoko. "We have different styles and I think the coach will make his choices according to the opposing team," the Al-Shabab player said. "When I look at the preparatory matches, there were a lot of rotations in that position, and, as I said, his choice will depend on the opponent."

Belgium arrives at the Euro as outsiders rather than favourites. "We've got good group cohesion, given that we've been in the hotel for quite a few days," Carrasco said. "Nobody's stuck in his own corner, and several players are forming groups. That's a key factor in going far in a tournament."

"And players are hungry, because it's the first tournament for some and the last for others," he explained.

"I do not watch all the other games, I think when we play a particular team, the staff will show us what we need to see," Carrasco added. "I'm not here to analyse but rather to have a good time with the team."
