The average number of new coronavirus (Covid-19) infections per day over the past seven days has increased by 11% compared to the previous week, according to the most recent figures from Sciensano.
There were 95.3 new infections per day on average.
Belgium now has 62,781 confirmed cases, which is an increase of 74 compared to Monday.

Nine people were admitted to hospital on Monday, bringing the number of hospitalisations due to coronavirus to 17,899. On Monday, 138 people were still in hospital, 23 of whom were in intensive care. The average number of hospitalisations per day in the past week was 10.1, a decrease of 9% compared to the previous day.
There was an average of 1.2 deaths per day, which is a 66% decrease from a week earlier.
