A Belgian tourist has been reported missing in Thailand after not having been seen for over 24 hours, Het Laatste Nieuws reports on Saturday.
A search operation is currently underway in the Thai province of Mae Hong Son, in the north-west of the country.
According to local media, the 28-year-old known as "Chloé" was last seen leaving her home on her bicycle, which was discovered abandoned on Saturday near a path leading to the Mae Yen waterfall.
A search was launched immediately after she was reported missing.
The search was interrupted during the night due to heavy rainfall in the area, with ensuing floods risking hampering rescue operations.
