Belgium’s acting Foreign Minister will take Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to visit the military hospital in Neder-Over-Heembeek on Thursday afternoon.
The hospital is treating wounded Ukrainian soldiers, who have been staying there for several months.
The announcement was made by Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib’s office on Thursday, coinciding with President Zelensky’s visit to Brussels for the EU summit with leaders of its 27 Member States.
The Neder-Over-Heembeek Military Hospital in northern Brussels specialises in treating severe burns.
In early September, it admitted three wounded Ukrainian soldiers, having previously treated five others.
