Tickets for the first day of Rock Werchter on Thursday, 3 July, with the return of Linkin Park, have sold out rapidly.
According to the festival’s website, tickets became available at 10:00 this morning. Within just 53 minutes, the organisers announced on social media that all tickets for Thursday, headlined by the American band Linkin Park, were sold out.
This is the first time since 2017 that Linkin Park will perform at Rock Werchter. The band took a long hiatus following the death of their lead singer, Chester Bennington. They made a comeback this summer with new lead singer Emily Armstrong.
After releasing their new single “The Emptiness Machine,” they quickly topped the wish list of Rock Werchter fans.
A waiting list for Thursday tickets has been opened. Fans can register on the website www.rockwerchter.be. Meanwhile, combi-tickets and tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are still available.
