The SNCB travel planner now includes real-time schedules for buses, trams, and metros from STIB, TEC and De Lijn, the railway company announced on Friday.
Travel times for walking, cycling, and driving are also available. Previously, the travel planner only featured real-time schedules for SNCB trains and De Lijn vehicles; now it includes those for TEC and STIB services as well.
The travel planner is accessible via the SNCB website or app. Passengers can enter departure and destination addresses and select different transport modes.
The platform provides information on stops and routes, including disruptions due to construction or unexpected detours.
The collaboration between the four public transport operators marks a significant step towards improved inter-modality, according to the SNCB.
"The SNCB, as the backbone of mobility in Belgium, aims to simplify and promote the use of trains as well as other public transport modes," the company stated.
